Dance crew employs mini-segways in attempt to woo woman at Hong Kong pier (video)

You may have heard that mini-segway “hoverboards" (AKA Swegways) have been banned from public use in Hong Kong unless they’re licensed.
We can therefore only assume that this apparently nameless dance crew spent a whole lot of time weaving around cones and reverse parallel parking to get the paperwork needed for this little routine.
Taking place at a Hong Kong pier – and produced by the amusingly named Derick Quimson (grow up, we know) – this swegway serenade is seemingly an attempt to woo a pretty blonde lady who’s only interested in her phone.
Donning the winning combination of tunic-type dress/tops, denim shirts only done up by the top button, and at least two fisherman hats, the crew of five whips, nae naes and generally scoots around looking dope to Robin Thicke’s “Pressure”.
Despite the impressive (if not alwayscompletely coordinated) swegway-supported moves, however, we don’t see anything of the blonde again. Perhaps these guys didn’t get the memo about how all women hate Robin Thicke now…
But don’t despair, fairytale fanciers. While these frisky fellas failed to get their happy ending with the one girl they were all going to share, they did manage a vaguely amusing ending in the form of a bloopers reel.
Enjoy, and don't try this without a licence!
