LGBT rally urge the government to act

Thousands of LGBT supporters have come together for the Hong Kong Pride Parade 2015. 

Their main demand is to press the government to implement the Sexual Orientation Discrimination Ordinance, which prevents sexual minorities from being unfairly treated. The rally started from Victoria Park and ended at Tamar Park in Admiralty.

Tin, the spokesperson of the parade committee, said he believes the parade is effective in conveying their message: 

But Amelia Shieu, a staunch supporter of the march, agreed that the parade has helped promote equality. But she pointed out that Hong Kong had still had a long way to go.
