Lawmakers on Friday resumed their debate on whether to adjourn the meeting on the second reading of the controversial Copyright Amendment Bill.
However, like the previous couple of days, progress has been extremely slow as pro-democracy lawmakers continued to make quorum calls every few minutes.
The Commerce secretary, Greg So, once again said there is an urgent need to pass the bill as soon as possible. He stressed that society has already reached "a high level of consensus" on the issue.
Opponents of the proposed legislation say it will overly restrict freedom and creativity on the internet.
