Yesterday at 3pm, the “Alliance in Support of Our Police Force” had their annual march in Central's Chater Garden to, well, show their support of the Hong Kong police force.
One Western journalist was attempting to take photos when one woman participating in the march decided she really didn’t want to be caught on camera, according to a video
to Facebook by independent media outlet SocRec.She apparently went with the “kill them with kindness” approach to try and stop the man from recording the event.
First she covered her face with the huge heart-shaped sign, while sending enthusiastic peace signs his way, then she channeled her inner karate kid and waxed on, waxed off, waving her hand back and forth in his face.
When the journalist paid no heed to her weird antics, she resorted to her last secret weapon: she got her pout out and landed a big fat kiss on his camera lens.
The best part is his face, which basically says: “Seriously?! WTF!”
“Alright, did you see that?” did you get that?” he says to someone off camera before he walks away.
According to
, the journalist in question said he's given the police his camera and that DNA tests will be conducted, presumably from the saliva her sloppy kiss left behind on the lens, though it's unclear what kind of charges he wants to be pressed against her or why DNA testing is necessary considering she was filmed from multiple angles. The video has been shared almost 1,100 times at the time of writing.
We guess kissing journalists' cameras is better than . http://hongkong.coconuts.co/2015/08/03/video-woman-kissing-journalists-camera-during-pro-police-march-shared-widely
