LegCo's President Tsang Yok-sing says he's decided to suspend Wednesday's council meeting because of protests outside the government complex.
Mr Tsang said government officials and 41 pro-establishment lawmakers have expressed concerns over their personal safety.
Mr Tsang said protesters had blocked vehicle access to the LegCo building.
He said he's aiming at resuming the meeting next week.
