DAB wants probe into the blockade

Pro-establishment lawmakers --
led by the DAB -- are seeking to invoke LegCo's special powers to investigate the large-scale blockades of streets in main districts by protesters.
But the formation of such a select committee under the powers and privileges ordinance would require the support of members of the functional and geographical constituencies.
DAB vice-chairwoman and executive councillor, Starry Lee, said she was not optimistic the special powers could be invoked, but they'd submitted a petition to the Legco President anyway.
