The popularity of Leung Chun-ying, pictured, has risen slightly - but so has the number of people who don't want him for another term as chief executive.
Trends are seen in the latest poll by the University of Hong Kong Public Opinion Programme, with 1,000 people checked early this month.
Leung rated a score of 42.5. That's up from several weeks earlier but remains below the 45-mark "crisis level."
Support for the idea of giving him second term stays at 24 percent, but 60 percent do not want him for another term - a slight increase.
Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah remains most popular of the three administration secretaries with 61.8 marks. Chief Secretary Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor is on 55.7 and Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen Kwok- keung 48.8.
Secretary for Food and Health Ko Wing-man tops the popularity list of bureau chiefs with 71. He's "ideal."
Bottom are Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah, Secretary for Development Paul Chan Mo-po and Secretary for Education Eddie Ng Hak-kim. They all had negative ratings.
