Can you help half-Filipino man find his long-lost father?

By Coconuts Hong Kong November 4, 2015 /16:25 HKT

We recently received a message at Coconuts HQ from a man named Abro, who asked for our help in finding his long-lost father. How could we say no?

Thirty years ago, Abro's Filipina mother had a relationship with his Pakistani father, Abdullah Bluch, after they met in Hong Kong. At some point during the relationship, Abro's mother became pregnant and returned to the Philippines to give birth.

Unfortunately, their long distance relationship suffered, and apparently due to miscommunication, Abro's mother was unable find Abdullah when she returned to Hong Kong. As a result, Abro has never met his father, and desperately wants to find him.

Abro has told us that Abdullah worked in Hong Kong as a cook, and is originally from Karachi, Pakistan. If you recognise the man in the photos provided, please get in touch with us by emailinghongkong@coconuts.co. You could help us reunite a family.

Let's just hope this guy wants to be found...
