The biggest surprise of the District Council elections was the almost-perfect performance from the Neo Democrats - who won 15 out of the 16 seats they contested for a stunning 94 percent success rate.
The party - formerly the reformist faction of the Democratic Party which splintered off in 2010 - almost doubled their haul of eight seats in the 2011 elections.
They had most success in Sai Kung and Sha Tin. Yam Kai-bong's win in Tai Po was the icing on the cake, as his 4,148 votes were the highest number of any constituency in the polls.
The party's lone lawmaker, Gary Fan, won a seat in Sai Kung. He attributed the Neo Democrats' success to the candidates' "solid community work".
