After the clearing of Lung Wo Road, a policeman questioned out loud why no reporters were taking photos of the bloodied officer. A photographer replied, "Don't worry, I did".

Early this morning, the police cleared demonstrators off of Lung Wo Road, pushing them northwards into Tamar Park (photos here). These photos show the aftermath of the clearing before the police charged again at 7am.

Some protesters chanted "Public park! Public park! Public park!", implying that the police did not have the right to tell them to leave.

Protesters wash the face of a journalist hit by pepper spray.

A protester and a police officer get into a verbal argument. Other protesters stepped in and separated the two to prevent a confrontation.

With the occupiers gone, the police began to remove barricades and debris from Lung Wo Road.

A standoff occurred on the sidewalk next to Lung Wo Road, with the police eventually pushing the protesters forward.

These red warning banners were a common sight throughout the night. Police lines would advance, pushing the protesters back, while holding up one or two of these banners.

This man was seen earlier encouragingpeople to charge at the police. He was recuperating after getting hit by pepper spray.

Back towards the main protest site by the Legislative Council Complex, protesters busied themselves by making protective gear out of playmats and zipties.

Protesters pass down plastic pallets to start rebuilding barricades in the tunnel.

The tunnel quickly filled up with demonstrators.

A man called for people to stop watching and to come occupy the tunnel.

A standoff occurred between protesters and police near the entrance to the West end of the tunnel.

Hundreds convened in minutes.

Some were very prepared.

But for hours the police did nothing, despite the fact that protesters were building barricades right in front of them. The standoff continued until 7am this morning.

Arm shields were passed out.

But it was getting late, and people were tired.

People were sitting, and nodding off.

Some didnt even have to be sitting to be sleeping.
