Students on hunger strike call on 'bully" CY Leung to restart political reform dialogue

The students' open letter to CY Leung in Chinese. (Scholarism via Facebook)

Yesterday the three students onhunger strike – Joshua Wong, Prince Wong and Isabella Lo – released an open letter to chief executive CY Leung, calling him an arrogant, self-serving politician who is indifferent to the Occupy movement and "playing with fire" by using violence on the protesters.
The students are now on day four of their hunger strike. Prince hasreported vomiting.

The English version of the letter is fairly awkward –  saying at one point that "the people are alert with hunger strike" – but their message is clear: restart the public conversation on political reform, or risk having protesters die.
At least in the English version, the students seem to paint themselves as martyrs "sacrificed for the sake of justice", as "adorable dream-seekers" (yes, they called themselves that) who will have to go through their hunger strike despite "such freezing weather".
