A transgendered woman named Angel protested in the nude outside Billion Plaza in Lai Chi Kok, where the maintenance and service centre of printer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard Inc. is located.

Angel, 34, was seen at about 10:30 a.m. Monday holding a sign protesting against sloppy customer service by the firm and demanding a response from its management.

Police arrested her on suspicion of indecent exposure, Apple Daily reported Tuesday.

Angel said she had bought an HP laptop computer, which broke down after two weeks.

When she took it in for inspection at HP, she said, the technicians told her only that she could call again if the problem persisted.

Finding the poor service attitude of HP’s staff unbearable, she decided to bare it all to get media attention.

Angel, who underwent a sex change in 2013, said she tried to seek help from HP but was treated irresponsibly and the staff asked her to leave the computer behind for further inspection.

She has been released on bail and must report to the police station on Sept. 16.
