Two men arrested for fighting over woman at MTR statio

MTR passengers were treated to a real-life drama at the Kowloon Tong station when two middle-aged men apparently married to the same woman bumped into each other and engaged in a scuffle.
The woman surnamed Law, 46, was walking with her current husband, 49, when they encountered Ip, 46, who was identified as her ex-husband, at the concourse of the station around noon Thursday, Sing Tao Daily reported on Friday.
Ip yelled in front of the crowd that Law had left him and their son for the mainland man. Ip then slapped Law, grabbed her cellphone and threw it on the floor.
The mainland guy got angry and attacked Ip with his bag. Law asked the two to stop but to no avail.
Around four or five MTR personnel came and tried to separate the two men while guiding other passengers to move along the corridor.
But the two ignored their warnings and continued to fight.
Police officers arrived to restore order and arrest the two men for public disturbance.
Ip was also charged with common assault and damaging property.
The three claimed to have suffered injuries from the incident and were taken to the hospital.
