Thousands of tertiary students who are boycotting their classes plan to take their fight for democracy to Tamar this morning, where a rally is planned for outside government headquarters.
Yesterday, the Federation of Students said 13,000 people attended a rally at the Chinese University - to mark the beginning of the week-long boycott.
The Secretary General of the Federation of Students, Alex Chow, said their action marks the start of a series of disobedience actions, saying that if university students would only stay in their classrooms, they would be ignoring a crisis in society and their responsibilities.
