The coroner has returned an open verdict on the death of a 10-year-old girl, who fell from her school building two years ago.
He said the evidence was not conclusive enough to decide whether Law Cheuk-ki's death was suicide or an accident.
But he severely criticised the vice-principal who attended to the girl, saying her testimony was "total nonsense and full of lies". She had said she was too absorbed in performing first aid to immediately think of calling an ambulance.
The coroner made a number of suggestions to prevent similar incidents. This include placing a medical officer at every primary school on a permanent basis.
