About 100 people have taken part in a rally near Tamar Park to urge authorities to charge the seven police officers who were filmed apparently beating up Occupy protester Ken Tsang last year.
Holding lights in the corner where the alleged offence took place, participants also called on the government to stop what they call political oppression.
Police this week confirmed that they had received legal advice on the matter from the Department of Justice and that prosecutions were possible.
