Expert doubts link between lead and soldering

Dr King Wong talks to RTHK's Annemarie EvansAn expert has cast doubts on claims that soldering is the likely cause of lead contamination of water in some housing estates.

Dr King Wong, president of Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists, told RTHK a lot more details need to be collected before soldering is linked to the contamination.

Earlier this week, the Chief Executive, CY Leung had said that soldering materials were the most likely source of the problem.
