Three days after a thug slashed a woman’s face in Aberdeen and fled, a man was attacked with a knife in Happy Valley, only this time the attacker was arrested.

The 38-year-old victim of the attack, surnamed So, was stabbed by a man unknown to him at about 9 a.m. Thursday on Tai Hang Road across from the True Light Middle School.

He was sent to hospital with injuries in the belly and right thigh, Sky Post reported Friday.

Police arrested the attacker, 45, surnamed Tang, who remained at the scene.

Tang reportedly attacked So because he was angry after being bumped by someone.

While Tang has a criminal record, police don’t think he was the attacker who wounded the woman in Aberdeen.

The 31-year-old woman, surnamed Chow, received more than 60 stitches on her face after she was slashed by a man at about 8 a.m. Monday in Tin Wan, Aberdeen.

Police have published a sketch of the attacker, who is in his 40s and 165-167 centimeters tall.

A private detective advised people who are being attacked on the street to call loudly for help and try to note down details of the attacker’s face and physical characteristics.

He also advised women to stay away from deserted places.
