People Power lawmakers said on Wednesday that they will launch a filibuster campaign if pro-establishment legislators capture the chairmanship of every single committee and panel in the Legislative Council. The warning came ahead of panel chairmanship elections on Thursday.
One of the People Power legislators, Albert Chan, said it was not enough for their pan-democratic allies to simply condemn the pro-government lawmakers, and that action was needed.
