It turns out that bickering over pulp vs. no pulp is no longer the pettiest orange juice-related argument you can have.
A woman was filmed losing her temper (to put it mildly) on the streets of Causeway Bay on Wednesday and brandishing a knife at the staff of a juice stall, apparently because she didn't agree with her fresh-squeezed OJ's HKD25 price tag.
According to Apple Daily, a mainland Chinese woman ordered a glass of fresh orange juice from a juice stall on Kai Chiu Road at around 5pm on Wednesday, but complained that the price (HKD25) was too high.
A witness on the scene, surnamed Leung, told Apple Daily that the female member of staff denied that the drink was too expensive while continuing to cut fruit, after which the customer exclaimed she had been threatened with the fruit knife.
In a widely shared clip, the irate customer can be heard repeatedly calling the staff member a "fucking bitch" who tried to "chop her" and screaming "I need to hit this fucking bitch". When passersby came to the juice stall worker's defence, the woman was heard shouting "fuck your mum" over and over again.

At some point during the two-hourtantrum, police arrived to mediate the situation, and the mainland Chinese woman was seen demonstrating "how [the juice shop staff] threatened to chop her" with the knife.
According to Leung, the customer demanded that the staff member get on her knees and bang her head on the ground three times while apologising to her, in a particularly violent-sounding version of the kowtow. Spoiler alert – she refused to do it, probably because she's not a disgraced imperial servant.
Eventually, the woman's friend appeared to snatch the knife out of her hand and talked her down from her (possibly) hypoglycemic rage, and the two left.
