Civic Party urges water filter for affected units

RTHK photo: Damon Pang The Civic Party has called on the the government to immediately install water filters for public housing tenants affected by the lead contamination. The party cited a Consumer Council report in February that said there are certified filters which can remove the heavy metal. Karen Mak, a party member who's also a chemistry lecturer at Baptist University, said certified filters can clear many impurities, including lead.
