An Occupy protester has walked free from court after his disorderly behavior conviction was dropped after a television footage disproved the charge.
Leung Chi-hang was initially found guilty after being accused of throwing metal barriers at police officers. However prior to sentencing, Cable TV submitted footage involving the defendant during last year's occupy protests in Mong Kok.
Kwun Tong Magistrate Anthony Yuen said the footage did not show Mr Leung had conducted such acts or provoked others to behave in a disorderly manner. He was released immediately.
