The Labour Department says it is keeping a close eye on cash-strapped ATV, being as staff at the station have gone without their wages again. 
The broadcaster said it was still trying to get the cash together to pay salaries for August.
The Employment Ordinance states that companies have to pay wages no later than seven days after they are due.
ATV announced in June that it had found an unnamed investor to fund operations until its licence expires next April.
