A Hong Kong rugby player is desperately looking for a man who caught him on a dash cam being knocked down by a speeding car in Jordan.
Tom McQueen took to Facebook to reach out to the man after seeing a clip of the incident on social media, Headline Daily reports.
The suspect fled the scene of the accident.
McQueen wants to use the video as evidence in a police report but he was told it is inadmissible unless the person who shot it comes forward and confirms it.
“Hello Facebook … the police needs a statement from the man who filmed this video in order to conclude their investigation. It was posted on a HK traffic forum, if anyone has any info or can help me find the man it would be much appreciated,” McQueen wrote.
The accident happened around 7 a.m. on Oct. 19 as McQueen was riding his motorcycle in the Hong Chong Road flyover to Ho Man Tin.
The clip shows a white sedan speeding up into merging traffic to try to overtake a bus.
The vehicle hits McQueen when it swerves sharply into his lane, knocking him off his bike.
McQueen suffered minor injuries to his arms and legs.
He decided not to go to hospital for treatment in order to make his flight to Australia the next day for a rugby match.
Police later arrested a 35-year-old man, surnamed Ma, in Kowloon City, later that day.
He failed a breath test, suggesting he had been driving drunk that morning.
