Representatives of primary school principals said the Education Secretary, Eddie Ng, has agreed to meet them on Wednesday morning, after they accused the government of blaming schools for drilling pupils excessively for a controversial assessment.
The Aided Primary School Heads Association said it is angry with Ng for not consulting the group before demanding schools to stop drilling for the Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA).
Chim Hon Ming, a board member of the association, said it hopes Ng would consider suspending TSA for primary three pupils for one year.
