The sentencing of a former proprietor of an engineering company for suspected bid-rigging has been adjourned until February 26 next year due to "technical issues".
Yau Shui-tin earlier pleaded guilty to offering nearly HK$45 million in bribes to agents, in order to secure consultancy and renovation contracts at Garden Vista in Sha Tin between 2010 and 2014.
He has been ordered to remain in custody pending mitigation and sentencing.
The spokesperson of the Property Owners Bid-Rigging Alliance, Chong Wing-fai, called on the ICAC and the police to continue following up on the case.
He said members of the owners' corporation, who are believed to have accepted advantages, are still at large.
