The body of Choi Wai-yik, 39, who went missing after he went hiking on Sunday, was found in a Hong Kong country park on Wednesday, according to police.
“The male body was found on a hillside off Route Twist in Pat Heung at 1.10pm,” a police spokesman said. “Initial information showed the deceased was the missing person.”

Police made a public appeal for information to find Choi’s whereabouts after his employer filed a missing person report with police on Monday.
According to police, Choi went missing after he left his Chuk Yuen home in Ta Kwu Ling to go on a hike in Tai Lam Country Park in the western New Territories on Sunday morning.
He was wearing a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans and carrying a black rucksack when he left his home.
