Former Ming Pao chief editor Kevin Lau says he`s unable to assist the court in identifying the people who attacked him with a chopper in February last year.
Mr Lau, who completed his testimony in the High Court on Thursday morning, said he could only see a person on a motorcycle wearing a helmet and another person, also wearing a helmet, holding the getaway motorbike. He said he could only see their backs.
Yip Kim-wah and Wong Chi-wah have pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The prosecution told the court on Wednesday that the two were offered HK$100,000 each to carry out the attack.
The hearing continues.
