A video of two women screaming at each other on the MTR yesterday has been making waves on Hong Kong social media. The clip appears to show the women, who are seated next to each other on a Tsuen Wane line train, exchanging insults rather... heatedly.

The video's uploader said he witnessed the argument at 12.58am yesterday between Lai Chi Kok and Mei Foo stations, after returning home from a late night showing of the new Star Wars film (no spoilers please!).

The fight apparently transpired after the woman on the left told the passenger to her right to "go back to the mainland". While the video does not show the entire exchange, it does capture the two grown women trying to drown each other out and seemingly smacking each other's hands. No wonder "girl fights" have such a bad rep!

Although the physical aspects of the fight are childish, however, what the women actually shout at each other is fairly explicit.

After being told to "go back to the mainland" again, the woman on the right starts exclaiming that she is, in fact, a Hongkonger, having started a business here (we won't split hairs about the definition of immigration). After calling the other woman "insane" and a "crazy bitch", she eventually settled for repeatedly shouting "f*cking old whore", before calling 999 and reportedly telling the police she'd been attacked by a crazy person.

The video cuts off while the woman is on the phone, but we'd like to think that DAB lawmaker Ann Chiang made her way onto the train to teach everyone about the consequences of misinformed comments about mental illness.
