A Cheung Chau resident has applied for a judicial review of the government's recent report on political reform.
Kwok Cheuk-kin, aged 73, said the document --
summing up the views gathered during a public consultation
-- is misleading; biased towards pro-establishment views; and does not reflect the actual situation in Hong Kong.
The applicant wants the court to declare the document unlawful.
The Chief Executive had submitted the report to the National People's Congress Standing Committee last month.
It will consider the report during its meeting next week.
