VIDEO: See Cheung Chau’s macho men take on Typhoon Kalmaegi

We might not have felt Typhoon Kalmaegi too acutely on Hong Kong island – unless you went swimming in the harbour that is – but by the looks of things, it got pretty dramatic on the island of Cheung Chau.
Check out this little compilation video courtesy of Martin Williams, showing some daft dudes getting battered by the waves (don’t feel sorry for them, it’s on purpose), and other, less impressive wave footage.
