HONG KONG - A 30-year-old man accused of filicide admitted in court to drawing up a shopping list of items he and his co-accused would need to kill and process his parents.

Henry Chau confessed that he and 38-year old Tse Chun-kei had a macabre list which included a number of rice cookers, microwave ovens, fridges and pots they would purchase to store and cook his dismembered parents.

The Court of First Instance heard Tuesday gristly tales of how Chau and Tse cooked part of the parents’ remains to pass off the cadavers as barbecued meats before disposing of them.

Police found the organs and heads of the elderly couple on March 15 last year, hidden in two refrigerators, salted and placed in lunch boxes.
