Civic Party legislator, Ronny Tong, on Friday rejected a proposal by People Power lawmaker, Albert Chan, to resign along with 26 other pan-democratic legislators to protest against Beijing's restrictive political reform package for Hong Kong.
Mr Tong said the plan was not practical and the end result might not favour them.
