Several concern groups protested outside government headquarters at Tamar on Monday over the way Link Reit is running wet markets in Hong Kong.
They complained of high food prices in Tung Chung and Tin Shui Wai, and urged the government to set up more markets.
The groups also urged the Housing Authority to stop outsourcing its markets to private firms so that rents can be kept at reasonable levels.
